Frugality and not stinginess.
We're experiencing similar to this actually and yes, I have done the budgeting, the having a garden, got a solar-supplied light and fan, and eating home-cooked meals. It helps. The school expense is the greatest struggle we have so far as we have 2college and 2 senior high schools this year and my Dad had lost his job. We got by somehow. Inflation hit us hard but humans got brains.🤭
