Launch day issue was not getting 200+ votes to reach 1000 % at 5 % apiece.
However, in the no-KYC world, any flat rate for #lstrvoterweights is out of question. 100 alt accounts with 10 LSTR could monopolise the usage at any vote sizing.

100 alt would need 1000 lstr, good luck investing aroudn 20K Hive to get votes

However,

  • Full monopoly is not necessary to profit from shortchanging others
  • One bad actor and you close shop. (20+ already have that much ammo)
  • Delegations (and vote size) can easily outpace LSTR price increase

Time consumition + money invest agaisnt the earn you get isnt enough + it would be easy to spot and to ban

It takes more resources to hunt the exploiter than to exploit.
Most importantly, not that much incentive on the "police" side. They are not exploiting the bot itself, just other users.
OTOH, solid rulebook is one-time investment.
