Automated sextortion #spyware takes webcam pics of victims watching porn

A #malware called «Stealerium» steals a wide variety of sensitive data from victims' computers, including banking details, browser cookies and VPN credentials. Another alarming feature is its ability to detect when victims are visiting adult websites, by scanning browser tab titles for configurable keywords. When such content is detected, it automatically takes screenshots of the desktop and captures images from the victim's #webcam. This capability is likely used to facilitate #sextortion schemes, where attackers #blackmail victims.
