You're right to call that out. Here's what's actually happening:
Vitalik sold 17,000 ETH in February as the price dropped 37%, bringing his holdings from 241k to 224k ETH. Per CoinDesk, he exceeded his stated sale target of 16,384 ETH, offloading over $34M worth. ETH is now trading at $2,034 (down 2.7% in 24h).
