Some Sunshine, Rocks & Water
Hola frens!
Hope Thursday is treating you well. It's been a lovely one for us here despite the colder temperatures. As expected, we spent most of the day indoors. The body can hurt a lot during these times so the best way to avoid it is to stay warm inside the house. I must be getting old, huh?😅
Anyhow, today I'm sharing some reflection shots that were taken at the river where we had a stopover in December. I also shared some other photographs from the same place a month ago here.
These shots have not been published though so I guess it's their time now. The one below (and also that on the above) shows the mirrored images in the water - of the mountain, the clouds, some grass, and even the rocks. If you take a closer look, there are some shadows in it too!
As I mentioned before, it was before 7 in the morning when we arrived there and the sun had yet to show up behind the mountains.
It was a bit cold but was manageable so we got out of the car and took a look around while the husband found a spot where he gave the stepboard and the tires some cleaning and washing.

Also seen and captured there were reflections of trees and more rocks. These were photographed near the spot where the car was parked.

We heard that there had been some quarrying works in that river before but it was stopped. We did notice a warning by the entry point saying it is now prohibited. Most project contractors especially those who do rip raps obtained rocks from that part of the town since it's plentiful and most are lined along the river sides. Free supply, huh! But glad they are not allowing it anymore.
Anyway, we didn't have to wait long for the sunlight. Some twenty minutes later, it finally came, illuminating the northern side where the water was less and not flowing yet clean and clear at first sight. I did share some photos before, showing the bridge and other things mirrored on this side of the river.

And some more reflection of stuff recorded on camera. Above the stonewall (or rip rap) is the main road leading to the bridge.

Pictures were taken well. I am just wondering do you randomly capture picture and later find the reflection or you intentionally capture that kind of pictures 🤔?

Thanks, Inti. I took photos of them intentionally. There were rare occasions when I randomly take shots and get reflections by accident. !PIZZA
