He Gets Exhausted Too

The quick trip to my father-in-law early on Monday made Anyeong rather unhappy. We went out of the house just past 6 in the morning after he got fed and drove straight to Papa's place.

The husband met with Mr. B for some urgent matters relating to the farms that had to be attended to before we headed to the polls. We thought it would be quick but it took a good amount of time (2 hours). My little guy and I went for a walk along the neighbor's farms to kill the waiting time 'coz Papa was busy preparing to go out so we didn't really catch up. The precincts open as early as 6 a.m. and old folks like him are usually the earliest, lol!


Anyway, after some time, Anyeong got bored and he started whimpering and scratching me in the chest. He has nowhere to run around. Well, he had but it would mean him getting muddy and such so we just went back to the car.


He seems to be saying, "Aren't we going home already?"


I let him stretch his body in the back seat, keeping the door open for the fresher mountain air. It turned out that he was very sleepy, hence the grumpiness.


"Come on, let's go already," he seems pleading here, lol!



Thankfully, the husband was done with his stuff because we were starving and Papa didn't have any food ready. We sped off and found a cozy place to have breakfast somewhere in the valley.

After some more detours (groceries, fruit shop, the local precinct), we drove to my parent's house for Anyeong to meet his grandparents, lol! It was as if Mom was expecting him. I learned my aunt who visited us on Saturday told her about our little guy.



He played with Ahjay, ran around, sniffed my Dad's feet, kissed Mom's forehead, peed on their long couch, and pooped in their chair, haha! My mother was amused watching him. Then it was time to say goodbye, but first, we let him visit the other house. I had to put him on top of the bar stool when he started sniffing around my indoor plants and biting on them, lol!

Anyhow, we drove home and he spent the entire time in bed until the next morning. We were worried thinking he might be sick. But glad he was not. He was probably exhausted from the trip and the attention he got from my parents.

I realized he's just like me. While we have fun and enjoy time with people we care about, we get physically drained in the process.

Weird huh?

Kinda, but I kid you not. It's real!

He looks super cute in my eyes. I also feel he enjoys the time when beloved people stay around and I think it's quite natural.
By the way, did you get permission before making the video and capturing pictures? It's not good.
Do you know a few days ago a roadside dog got angry when it noticed I was capturing a picture of it while sleeping? I learned a great lesson and decided not to capture pictures without permission🤣🤣. !LOL

Thankfully he got angry and barked for a while and left the place after that. But honestly, I got afraid of him for a while and I understood why he got angry. After that time he was looking at me in a suspicious eye like I was a thief.

He was so tired that he slept even before we arrived home.
