The Harsh Truth About Starting a Small Business in a Broken Economy

I wonder why everything that has to happen is happening in our generation like COVID, wars, inflation and all those other things making it difficult to build a dream career or life we once thought would be easy to achieve.

There used to be that time when it was all good and fun, gold was cheaper, oil was cheaper and home prices weren't as insanely highs as it is now.

This is generally not going to be about what it was like before and now the main course of discussion is Starting a business back then was easy but now it's all a shit show for many reasons.

The idea of doing business isn't sane anymore

I have heard of the challenges you've to face while beginning a business but there's just too many of them in our place

Like we're in the capital of country and there's just too many laws that makes it difficult to begin a small scale business

I have a friend who want to start his own business in fast food industry and he only have about 2 lac investment

Which used to be a lot if go back couple of years but now just to get those fast food restaurants stuff it takes more than 2 lac

finding vendors who won't scam you

To begin with the business you need trusted people otherwise it won't last even a week and while beginning with one he had to go through a lot of people to find a good vendor

The one who can provide food and other resources better than the market price in order to make profit out of it

Most vendors want to stay loyal but there are some who'll just scam you and milk you everytime you go towards them sometimes it happens because that vendor is providing to another restaurant who's like your competitor so they'll make it difficult for you to stand against them.

Finding a location is easy but

The easiest thing in my opinion is finding a location for your local business it can be home but when we go out

And observe markets you can easily tell which kinda business would outperform in this place

So I've that kind of location in my eyes but a few days ago I've seen one of established business was ran over by capital development authority for whatever reason

And if you open up your business stand Infront of a shop and it begins to work than after a couple of weeks or months the person who given you the contract will end it and start the same kind of business in that place

The amount of jealousy people have when someone is progressing is something way out of the world in this part of country.

Wrapping Up...

After all seeing these countless challenges I think it'd be far better to escape from this country and find a better job in some other part of the world as there's a lot of opportunities

So instead of saving up money for business I'll focus on getting out of here cause I don't see that future here
