The Case for a Shorter Work Week: Impact of Reduced Workdays on Our Lives
image using Ai.
It happens because of how busy you're while you're working or if there's something you're looking forward to at home that can't wait makes the day at office so slow.
As of now we have 5 working days in a week and I guess most people want to work on 4 days, three days should be for holidays.
The Less working Days but more Productive
We spent years of our life working 9 to 5 or anywhere to provide our family and during those years we miss the part of life where we are supposed to have fun and just do nothing but find peace within ourselves.
When we are spending less days on work like there's only four working days but the work we're doing in those 4 days is more because we'll see increase in work hours to enhance productivity.

I believe while we're busy or occupied by some tasks and our mind is focused on it than you don't realize how fast your day comes to an end so that's why I'm okay if there's more work but less working days.
I'll have enough time on weekends to get fresh and enjoy that time with the family and also can take care of myself which isn't possible while working entire week.
Some people will do work without any holidays
The thing is there's a lot of people in this world who work entire week without taking a day off just because they've responsibilities.
Does it make any difference? Yea, putting food on the time ain't easy it demands that work when you want more than just an average person life.
But I'm curious about those people who actually are more happy; are they one who Gets holiday or who don't want holidays?
Imo Either of them aren't satisfied cuz they want better than that. This is why there's a saying that comparison kills happiness.
Comparison While working is a theft of joy
It's in human nature to compare with each other but what I've made a rule for myself is to not compare with anyone else when I'm working it's not me Vs any other employee but it's just me trying to become better at what I'm doing everyday.

So if someone is happy working 7 days a week there's people who aren't happy working 5 days a week. This is why I believe 4 working days also won't make any difference.
Except the part where we can be more productive in those 4 days and can have 3 days to spend with family, plan to go out or enjoy exploring more things in the city which is still a good thing as it gives much freedom.
Wrapping Up....
In the end I personally am a person who works 7 days a week happily like I've accepted it is a part of my life I can't ignore or run from.
Doesn't really matter if there's 4 or 5 working days. we all have to do what we're supposed to do. Well, I wonder what your think about on this matter. Share your thoughts in the comments.

Honestly I think it's a matter of perspective and time management. Seeing you write about this made me think how I felt about working, now it all depends on the job in my perspective as living seems like a job to me other than going out to seek money and I love it, as for the money aspect being an investor seems more appealing to my personality as working is more intriguing and balanced which most people might disagree but that's how I see it, it's stressful if not approached appropriately.
So in my closure to the article I will like to say it's all about if your doing what you like and if your a proper time manager.
