Companies Are Exploiting You: Why Unpaid Internships Should Be Banned

This is that time of the year again when companies will hire so many talented young fresh people as an intern and they won't be getting paid even if they're getting paid that'll be more like a joke.

imagine living in this economy and spending all that money on education just to end up getting some internship that'll be another phase before you land a job

But in that phase you're going to be exploited but they're teaching you? And giving experience you want? So you're willingly doing that internship so it must be fine. No, it's not since these companies make shit load of money and they should offer a good package to interns.

The paid internship in this economy?

Nowadays the truth is you won't even find an internship easily but since summer internship is another trend, these companies don't want to stay behind

They all come forward and take part in this trend. Most won't offer a paid internship but those who have paid internship they offer the most basic package to interns that also depends on the department you're choosing.

Some of paid internships are just offering enough to cover your fuel expenses, meal and stuff.

While others are giving a basic wage level pay so that is around 40k/month.

Not paid when you're learning and gaining experience and compared to those who pay nothing but just takes work from interns, any paid internship in this economy should be considered more than a blessing.

Cause you're not alone, you're the choosen one amongst thousands of people who also applied and are waiting for that opportunity like starved one's.

Should Sue those who offer unpaid internships

You can't make this up like there's still thousands of people willingly working as an interns that too unpaid

Because unemployment is so peak they would do whatever they can to get experience as the whole job market runs on this one requirement that is prior experience from a fresh graduate.

So these companies are literally taking advantage of young one's and are exploiting full time and no one can do anything about it since they've signed up for it.

I believe there should be some sort of law that makes it illegal to hire interns on unpaid internships, there shouldn't be no such thing as unpaid interns, just internships that are paid because everyone knows what kind of economy we are part of and surviving without that paycheck is just not possible anymore and parents have already spent life savings on childrens education now that adults feel embarrassed asking money from them
