139 Rs Hike in Petrol Price, 80 Rs “Discount”, Free Metro for 30 Days… Are We Being Played?

We have just been got hit with a massive petrol hike once again and it seems like the entire impact of this war in Iran is happening in my country.

I knew we are cooked when pakistan started appearing in headlines again and all of the world is glazing us as if we're doing something important here.

But still it is quite an year for this country yet we citizens are the one most impacted in this situation.

A massive Petrol Hike for the weaklings

About two days ago we got hit by a hike of 139 rupees and petrol prices soared to highest of 469rs that's like highest anywhere in South Asia.

I guess those oil ships carrying our country flag crossing strait of Hormuz went straight to US and that's why trump was retweeting those tweets.

And now we have to pay for it yet again but before you get too excited government saw people crashing out all over internet and knew they fucked up

So they lowered price by 80 rupees and said that's a relief for public. Increased price by over 134 rs and decreased by 80 rupees is a relief.

But there's another good thing that happened just after the hike.

All Public Metro are free for a month?

They made this initiative right after it to make people think they're still the priority as of from today public can travel anywhere with metro for free.

It's a good initiative for people like a lot of people travel through metro everyday and these metro runs on electricity so it's a win win situation for government.

I myself travel by metro across the city and used to cost 4th half of my salary every month and that's quite a relief for me for a month but I wish this stay longer than a month, we got free piblic transport before new York? Or is already free in new York.

Still the increase in petrol prices isn't justified at all because neighbor countries haven't increased price at all or much compared to us.

You can't just increase price on the one hand and make lockdown and shut schools, uni down to save petrol while you're driving over the country with protocol and in thise private jets.

I'm not interested in politics people are crying

This is the kind of situation where these "I'm not interested in politics people" cry and seethe only because politics is now doing them.

A lot of people who never gave a fuck is now worried as fuck, afraid that everything would be more expensive.

I guess now is the time they should all sit down and work out a way to open that strait, sort out everything with Iran but no us would definitely go on a ground operation sooner or later and thing's will get more worse.

After a long time I saw almost entire metro talking about politics and shit realised that we might be healing and this was much needed.
