I'm usually just thankful on this day, but my patience is being tested for over a week now. I do wonder why the drilling down across our street is taking this long. They are also doing it only at night from around eight in the evening till around ten or even later like right now (almost eleven pm). Ugh! 😣 I only wish for quiet nights... 🙄 Whatever this street project is, I'm not too optimistic it would be done well. Who the f*ck could work well in the dark?! 😒 It's honestly pretty frustrating. I'm just doing mind over matter in pushing the noise to the background.

I'm focused on steps daily. I was quite happy hitting 3.5K since that's my original target, but I do manage to reach 4K these past few days. However, I can allow myself to fall below the 4K if I'm feeling lazier or more tired. 😆 No pressure... 🙏❤️💡

I miss these special cinnamon rolls. I do wonder when I could grab myself some really good cinnamon rolls. I have not been to the neighborhood mall lately. I guess there's not good enough reason to go. 😅 I simply enjoy staying at home during my brief day off. However, I'd need to schedule it soon esp. before the holidays set in. I prefer to avoid the holiday crowd at the mall. 😝

Autumn is my favorite season. I guess that's why I have no issue in letting things go, esp. if I do not need them anymore. I've been decluttering these past few years. I know I need to continue with this project as I've taken a break from all the clearing and packing these past few months. 😅 I'll get back to it .. one of these days.. 😂 no pressure! ✨

I fully understand your frustration, it must be very exhausting to have to deal with that noise constantly and, even worse, during the night.
It doesn't seem very logical to work in those conditions, and it's incredible that they don't consider the impact it has on the neighbors.
Hopefully they will finish with that project soon and you can enjoy quiet nights again.
