Alive & Thriving ThankfulThursday : Middle of October Now 🙌|| AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

Happy #thankfulThursday 🎉 Remember to be extra grateful today 🎉 It's now the middle of October. Can't wait for another weekend 🙌 A part of me does not want the month and the year to end just yet. However, there's another part that wants just that. 😅 Strike the balance is what I'd say. For the meantime, let's just enjoy each day as it comes. 😉

It's important to have mini victories each day. I added making steps to that list. Glad I have more than enough energy these past two days to reach higher steps. Well, there's no rain so I do need to water the plants in my tiny garden. That definitely means more steps. The down side is it does get warmer in the flat without rain. My thermostat now reads 33C in the bedroom. Oh boy! That would be great if it were freezing outside. 😂

I made a search just now if earthquakes are still happening in the country. Apparently, we still are. However, it seems most are below magnitude 4. Whew! Not a reason to be complacent though. 🤔 Far as I know, there has not been a totally accurate prediction of big quakes. 🙏❤️💡 and be ready. I need to keep that in mind.

Prompt A Day : Lighthouse (Word Prompt)

Word prompt and #throwbackThursday go hand in hand today. I've always been fascinated with lighthouses. Sadly, I've only experienced climbing up two. The third one was in Ilocos but it was closed off, although we did take photos outside of it. That was supposedly haunted. 😛 This one was taken in Naidi Hill in Basco, Batanes. It was late afternoon then and if I remember right, it's one of our last stops for the day. We had to hurry as the place was to be closed off for an exclusive wedding reception.

It was a good thing I could still walk and run fast without issues then. 🤣 My daughter and I decided we would quickly climb up to get a view from the top. Glad we made it as the view was worth it.

I'm a little afraid of heights, but I did get a good view. 😂 Batanes is such a lovely place to visit. In fact, if you'll only get one chance of visiting anywhere in the Philippines, Batanes would be my highly recommended place. 💞 Just do not visit during the typhoon season as this is one province that's almost always in the path of typhoons. 😆

Sixteen days over. Fifteen more to go. I'm counting days as I'm also doing budgeting. I get my pay once a month, so I do need to make sure it lasts till the next pay day. Such is life. Food is really expensive nowadays, and I have many mouths to feed (esp. my furbabies). 😂

I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Right now I've crossed $3 on LL. Tomorrow is reporting day for the promotion earnings. Let's see if I will get good rewards.
