Alive & Thriving ThankfulThursday : Hot Season.. No Fun 😰|| AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

I'm back! We're in the middle of the hotter times now, and it's really not fun at all. Times like this I wish I could disappear to somewhere cooler like anywhere with 20C - 24C temperature perhaps. 🙄 We're at least 10C hotter than that at the moment. Ugh! Time was when I would not hide out from the sun, but times have changed. I find myself being less tolerable of really hot days. 😓

I prefer staying indoors in front of my electric fans. Try as I might, I'm still not satisfied with the ventilation inside the flat esp. during the day. At night, I do turn on the cooling system so I'd have a bit more comfort. If I could afford it, I'd probably have it on 24/7 during this really hot days. #howIwish

Today I'm totally pleased that I finally got to get these two anniversary cards from Rising Star Game. I missed the fifth birthday last year as I did not make an effort to grab one. But since I've experienced losing some of my Hive assets due to theft, let's say I'm now more willing to find ways to invest them now esp. in a game I've been enjoying all these years. 🤓 Wow, it has been six years since I started playing. How time flies indeed!

On the lighter side of life, I've been enjoying watching this animation series on Netflix. Unlike others who do not enjoy animation, I find them enjoyable. I remember playing Carmen Sandiego as an old pc game from long, long ago. It was a great lesson in geography, and I really enjoyed it. Totally learned so much about world capitals. I'm feeling nostalgic so I'm revisiting the world through the animation series. 😅

I find it fascinating how spring is associated with flowers. We do not have this season but I totally love flowers and flowering plants. I've been doing my best in growing more of them in my tiny container garden. It's pretty tough at the moment as it's hot and dry. Can't wait till the plants in the garden would be happy once again. There's a time for everything...

I'm definitely counting down April now. Two more weeks to go.. the saddest month would be here once again. End of May will be Mom's fifth death anniversary. Before that, the second Sunday in May marks the celebration of Mother's Day here. I'm taking note so I could make arrangements for flowers for Mom's vault. 🙏❤️✨
