Heya all 🎉 I'm a day late in welcoming the tenth month of the year. 😆 I was on midweek break from posting so tonight I'm back. Thankfully, the drilling tonight is over. It was giving me quite the headache earlier. 🙄 I wish they would be over and done with whatever street project they are working on. I wonder if it's another one of those flood control projects. 🤔 Corruption in government is so huge that I think the only way to stop it is to abolish government altogether. 😂 #sadtruth

I don't want to dwell on things I can not control, so I will just focus on my daily steps. I had fewer steps these past two days. I felt like I needed the rest yesterday so that's pretty much my lowest count so far for the week. I was able to make up for it today. Will share that and Friday steps tomorrow. 😉

Went down earlier to go to the bank and dropped by the 7-11 store along my way. One of the good things about buying my own stuff is I could try new items that I find at the store. Blueberry muffin.. not as delicious as those you could purchase from a cafe or bakery, but it's pretty acceptable I guess. Just thought I'd try it for snack. 😆

I'd like to believe that as we acquire new knowledge, it opens our minds and simply expands our world. When that happens, there's no turning back. It reminds me of the lines from Defying Gravity:

Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game
Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep

Honestly, I believe that's one of the goals we should aim for in our lifetime -- to keep growing and expanding the mind. Think of it as helping our soul reach its full potential. If more folks do that, it would probably raise our collective consciousness and our society would not be as fucked up as it is now. 😒

Twenty-nine more days to go then Halloween night comes. Awoooo! Locally, our tradition is more of celebrating the day of the dead (Undas). It's more of honoring our dearly departed. 🙏❤️💡

I hope you can get some much needed rest now that the drilling has stopped.
I agree the packaged muffins are not as good as the ones from a bakery.
