It's #thankfulThursday 🎉 We're another day closer to the weekend. 🙌 I'm actively doing my daily walks. It's funny I forgot to share mine the past days. 😁

Like I mentioned previously, I'm working on slowly increasing my steps on a daily basis. I'm happy that on some really good days I'm able to hit more than two thousand five hundred steps. Last Sunday, I managed more than three thousand steps. Time was when that would have been my limit. I do admit I need to take a seat and rest in between, but now I can manage somehow, definitely better than before. 🙌 I'm really working on getting better. One day at a time...

I received surprises from my daughter yesterday. She ordered these from Flowerstore.ph. This one's the movie buddy gift set. Awww, I guess she also misses our movie nights. This came with a gourmet popcorn and bottled tea drink plus this really cute penguin plushie. 😍

This "flower" bouquet came in after lunch, also ordered from the same online store. Imagine my surprise when it was a money bouquet. 😆🤑 I definitely could use some extra cash. 🙌 Aside from these surprises, I just had a simple birthday celebration. It was a usual day for me. I'm okay with that since I do treat myself all year round. Now that I've completed another year, I'm truly thankful. 🙏❤️💡 Time to look ahead and embrace the journey forward. Let's see what a new year will bring...

Have you ever noticed how much faster we learn when we're truly curious and interested in something? I suppose that's what the quote is really about. In a way, it's also connected to how we learn while in school. Most times students are overloaded with information that I wonder if they truly learn anything. Rote memorization may have its purpose, but information learned this way can be forgotten eventually.

Stay curious, inspired, and open to learning. 💞

Eleven days to go and we say good-bye to another month. Amazing, huh? Time flies by too quickly. My daughter's birthday is coming in July.
