Alive & Thriving Staking FriYay : Look Back to Last Leg of Vacation || AATYr7 || Prompt A Day 😊

Last Monday I shared about the last leg of my daughter's vacation. We did manage to reach the hotel in time even if we had to do bus transfers. Thankfully both road trips went smoothly.

The thing about Baguio City is it's the summer capital of our country. Yes, the weather is cooler than it would ever be in the metro where I live. It feels like there's air conditioning outdoors 😅 Additionally it was pretty rainy for most of our time there. Oh well.. Here's the hotel lobby as we were checking in.

If you have the time, the lobby sofa is pretty good to sit and hang out too. 😂 We didn't get to do a lot of that except in between waiting for our taxi ride.

That's the room we got. Thanks to my daughter @ilovewintergem for the photos. There's not much of a view out the window. That looks out to the main street. 😝 I honestly miss staycations with my daughter. For practical reasons, we needed to be far apart. That's life.

I so agree with this quote. If one is used to doing things excellently, it becomes automatic that what one does would most likely be excellent. However, this level of excellence is truly lacking where I am. It's getting tougher to find hired help that deliver excellent work. TSK! 😖 It is what it is. "If you want the job done well, do it yourself." Now I believe this saying more and more each day. 😂 Sad but true.
