Happy FriYAY 🎉 One more work day for me and then another day off is here 😆 Oh wow! We have actually completed a week in August. Onwards to the second week then.

Tonight I switch to weekend mode. It's apparently another warm day for me. It's crazy how the weather and the temperature inside the flat just switched from cool to warm again in a matter of days. 😒 Yeah I do miss the rain. 🌧 A little of it goes a long way to cool the inside of the flat. So, I completed a week of the meal plan. Overall, I'd say it was okay. Food was fine. I can't complain since I did order the cheapest plan available that suits my needs as well. That said, I decided to give it another try for next week. I noticed that I did not have to worry about what meals to prepare for the weekdays. I decided I'd switch the cooking to the weekend when I'll have more time. This is all experimental and I'm taking notes on what works and what could be improved on daily.

#FlashbackFriday to happy times when the kitties outside were still around. Only a few of them are left now. I honestly have no idea what happened to some of them. I miss Twilight and Grumpy. 💔 At least Miny got the chance to say good-bye. 😿 I do not want to remember sadly as it's International Cat Day. Instead, let this be a tribute to these kitties who bring so much joy by their mere presence (which is a lot more than what I can say about other folks 😆).

Well, it got me curious so I checked and found out there are three different days of celebration. This date was actually established by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) back in 2002. I'm glad there are organizations that promote the welfare of animals. I feel that we need more active ones here in the Philippines. I want to have more means too so I could do my part in promoting their welfare and protection. 🙏❤️💡

Totally vibe with this quote. It's a great reminder for me to keep on moving forward and to keep trying to get better. One task at a time is something I tell myself whenever I feel overwhelmed by the number of tasks I still want to do but couldn't. One day at a time follows that so I could reschedule for another day whatever I fail to accomplish right now. I know, it's honestly not fun to be me at the moment, but I can't complain knowing I still have lots to be grateful for every day. 🙏❤️💡 This line from my favorite poem really works -- rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Another weekend is coming for me. Cleaning and gardening Sunday is planned. Hope all goes well then. Updates on Monday for that. For now, it's all about catching up with more rest for me. It would be great to have a day with nothing planned at all. 😆

Time for LL coop link promotion earnings. How did I do this week? Well, it still adds to my total and gets me closer to another payout. Right now, I'm almost halfway to $5. So cool I actually got a little more this week compared to last. I hope the upward trend continues on for me.
