Happy FriYAY 🎉 Another weekend is here.. finally! 😆 Last night was an epic fail despite the heavy rains that fell in the early evening. I'm right that two hours of rain was simply not enough to cool the warm flat. This afternoon, there was a bit of a thunderstorm and it rained hard for a while then drizzled for a little longer. A bit of cool wind is blowing too. Alas, I miss the stormy days of years past. 🙄 It's the middle of the year and we have not had a single typhoon. How weird is that?! 🤔

It's not that cool but 33C is pretty acceptable. How I wish it's still possible to get cooler than that on regular days. Before my daughter left for Barcelona, I remember we could enjoy room temperatures in the higher 20Cs (lowest was 26C). Now that feels like ages ago. 😅 I'd hate for the earth to get so much hotter. 😫

Now looking back, I'm so glad that my daughter and I decided to start our local travels when she turned 18. At least somehow I was able to see places I wanted to visit back in the days. Above photo is one from our Sagada Tour back in 2016. Life was so much better when I could still do hikes like this. Moving forward, I think the only vacations I can enjoy are the ones for old folks. 😂 Sadly, I would no longer be able to do long treks or hikes. 😒 It is what it is. I have not traveled again in a long while. I'm praying I will still be able to enjoy that in the near future. 🙏❤️💡 My advice is to go out explore and travel as much as you can while you are still able. 😝

Eid Mubarak! to all who celebrate. It's a local holiday here but a regular work day for me. Thankfully, some customers are on break so it was just a chill day. We're almost a week into the new month. Amazing how days are just passing by too quickly. Sometimes I wish I have a pause button so I could afford to sit around and do nothing even for a few hours in a week.

That is great advice. I sometimes forget that we are not eternal and time waits for no one. Even if I am feeling at times like I am still 20 it is an illusion and the body cannot do or it will do what I was able to do back then, but I will pay for it later. Even if I might be able to do things and travel, those around me might not...

So yes we should explore and travel as much as we can while we are still able.

Well, I truly am glad I did quite a few traveling when I could. I still have a few more places in my list. I wish now I could still go and visit them somehow. !LOL 🙏❤️💡
