Happy midweek 🎉 I'm totally glad it's another day closer to the weekend. Did you know that today was even hotter than yesterday?! My room thermostat registered a 37C temperature! 😮 That's the highest record so far, and it's not even officially summer yet. 😒

I decided to spend a little more time in the garden earlier tonight. That's so I could cool down a bit as it's too hot inside the flat. I watered the plants as much as I can and even sprayed on the terrace ground so it would not be too hot. Right now, I'm hiding again in the comfort of the cooling system. 😌

Periwinkle in bloom. At least I think that's a periwinkle plant. 😅 As it's suddenly too hot these past few days, I feel that the plants in the garden will need more watering. I could spend a little more time in the garden after work hours. That's a chance for me to get out of the flat and stay cooler outside. 🙏❤️💡

So true indeed. These days, however, one will need a lot of resources in order to do just that. 😅 I think I fell asleep for a while as it's now cool and comfy. It's really no fun being in this flat during the summer. However, the only way I can change that is to find ways and means to have my own place, preferably somewhere farther than the city, where it's not too crowded and hot. 🙏❤️💡

I pray that summer days go by too quickly. 😂 I wouldn't mind if it were suddenly June now. 😂 I would welcome the rainy season any time as long as it means cooler days and nights. 😝 oh well...

A week ago I was having a stressful time due to a busted monitor. I'm glad I've somehow worked that out. I hope for less stress in the coming days, weeks, and months. Now I wish I could go on estivation till summer is over. 🤣 I think I will catch up on some rest now as it's tough to do that during the warmer hours of the day. Do have a wonderful midweek! Wow! 37 Celsius! That is almost 40 which is super hot. Here in Seattle area it is 4-5 degrees Celsius right now. Beautiful flower.

We are getting another cold front, it will drop from the 80s to the 50s. Do you get cold fronts?

One day at a time.. surviving each day for now !LOL summer will soon be over. Can't wait! We do get cold fronts, but the past year was hotter than usual. It used to be cooler overall. I'm not yet thinking of going anywhere out of the country, but I would !LUV the chance to visit Barcelona in the future. 🙏❤️💡

It's really hot 🔥 37° inside. Time to spend more time outside and always stay dehydrated, drink a lot of water.
I totally agree with the quote by Abraham Lincoln.
Some flowers blossom during hot weather, like those awesome flowers. Hopefully the rain comes down to cool the weather temperature.

thank you for the reminder. I do need to drink lots of water esp. this hot season. Now I fancy cold water too since it tends to give me comfort !LOL I normally prefer lukewarm water.
Some plants during the hot season, but mine mostly like the rain. I'd welcome rain showers any time.

true, that's the best we could do. I've noticed it's a worldwide phenomenon. Somehow planet earth just got hotter 😖 while some places got much colder! Wish there's a way to equally distribute that to all so everyone gets beautiful weather !LOL
