Alive & Thriving Goals Monday : Try to Rebuild Up, Up, Up 🎉|| AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

Heya all 👋 I hope you all had a restful weekend. I'm back after a low point last week. I have not completely recovered, but I'm #aliveandthriving and I choose to focus on solutions rather than problems. I'm a little sadder now too as my kitty Tres asked to be let out late at night and has not come back since. It's been three days, and I'm more worried for that than anything else in life.

Yesterday was Palm Sunday. I made a schedule to stop at the nearby church to buy a new palm frond for the main door. It's something we do annually, so this time I did it by myself. I dropped by the nearby Starbucks branch to check out if they have the latest Harry Potter merchandise that got launched a few days back. Sadly, it was all sold out and they're not restocking at the branch near me. Boohoo! I was trying to get that for my daughter. Aside from that, I was able to purchase some groceries and ready to eat meals. I'm trying to stock up a bit for the coming Lenten holidays. Most stores are closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. I also had lunch at a nearby restaurant before heading home. I ordered beef broccoli with rice combo. It comes with drink and a dessert (buchi).

Well steps from yesterday look really good. Today it's my regular steps for now. Until this hot season is over, I've got to make adjustments to my nightly walk. I do get out of breath when I stay out too long outside. Yup it's that hot.

I really like today's quote. It makes me think of my late mom. I still miss her a lot. In a way, I was lucky to have a strong woman as my mom. I suppose I learned a lot from her. I know I've done my very best to raise my daughter to be strong and independent. I certainly hope I've done a great job of it. We may be far apart from each other, but I'm glad to see she's coping with being independent.

I'm happy to have grown in some ways despite the setback from last week. Well I figured if you're down, then there's no way to go but up, up, up. Yup, I will be singing Golden for a long while just to motivate myself to keep moving forward. One task at a time.. one day at a time. Looking at the figures, I'm down with swap.hive as I did lose my stash. I'm going to work on getting it back up but it will take some time. Well, I'm #aliveandthriving so I will find time for that. Guess you could say that's a good goal to focus on.

On rising star game, I bought some cards for the latest seasonal mission. I'm finally able to log in via Hive keychain. I did remove it and reinstalled and set things up again. This time around with my new keys. Be careful when seeking assistance on discord esp. on the Hive Keychain discord. There are predators there prowling to find their next victim to rob you of your crypto. It's actually best to have tech support in closed tribe servers. That's a thought. Maybe we could have it in the We Are Alive tribe.

There's another thing I realized is that it's better to hold tokens (layer 2) that can be staked. That way they do not get stolen quickly. I found some of my staked ones being unstaked. It's a good thing that takes time and I reversed the action.

One more day to go. It's the last day of March tomorrow. Oh boy, the hottest month is coming here. I'm really not that excited. Here's to surviving it again this year. Wish me luck!
