Alive & Thriving Goals Monday : Back to Work || AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

Five days into the new year. It's back to reality for me. First work day of the year. Yeah it got busy too so...

yeah, I'm feeling a little tired today. That's the second part of my adventure from my twelve days of break. Aside from trying my hand on garden experiments, I managed to get around to the mall, to do my groceries before the holiday dinners, and to treat myself to some dine out experiences.

When I claimed my new reading glasses last Friday, I dropped by Tasty Dumplings. I ordered the pork chop rice that I remembered had a really large serving. 😆 I'd say I've craved for this for a while now. 😝 I only consumed half of this and shared the rest with the kitties when I got home. 😉

I made it a point that I'd reach my daily 5K steps. I'd admit it can be challenging some days, but it's really early in the year. I just need to focus on the task at hand.

It helped that there's a lovely full moon last Saturday night too. It shone so brightly as I walked by the terrace garden. Too bad my phone cam could not capture a better view of the full moon.

That's my attempt to zoom in on the really bright full moon. The wolf moon is the first of three supermoons happening this year. The next ones would be during the last two months of the year.

I barely reached my 5K daily steps today, but as you see, I tried. 😆 I hope to build enough strength so that next time around reaching my target would be easy. 😅 one task at a time.. one day at a time..

Just love this quote today. I suppose that's why I love the new year, because it gives us the sense of a fresh start. Yeah, after last year, I feel like that's what I need this 2026. Hopefully, I've learned enough lessons and would be able to make amends. It's too early to tell but I would believe that it's going to be a really good year. If we attract what we think, then we'd like to think it's going to be the best. 🤓 Happy new year!
