Alive & Thriving Chooseday Thoughts : Quest for Perfection ✨ || AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

Happy Chooseday 🎉 remember to always choose happy 💞 not just for today, but for each and every single day that comes our way. 😉 Like I mentioned yesterday, countdown to the end of the month starts today. 😅 Yup, that's ow fast each day comes and goes. Ten more days to go and we'll be down to the last two month of the year. Are you excited? First off, Halloween first. If you're celebrating, I hope you'll share more photos and stories with us. 😆

Well, nobody's perfect, but that does not really stop us from wishing for or aspiring for perfection. One thing for sure, I know my life would not be perfect ever. For one, my mobility issue stops me from enjoying long walks I used to enjoy. I can and do, however, aspire for perfection in daily life. I think perfection is relative and subjective. My definition is pretty simple -- everything going my way in each and every day. A well-run household, healthy me and the kitties and guinea pigs, food on the table, treats once in a while, some spending money when I need it, quiet nights and restful sleep are some examples. Add to that my strength for my nightly walks. I'm glad to have reached more than my usual steps for the past two days. Tonight, I had to cut down my walking as I was feeling a little ouchie each step I take. I was near completion of my target steps so I figured I'd give it a little rest. I'd simply catch up when I have a little more energy.

The best things in life... are chocolates. 😆 Would you agree? 😝 I remember that in my teens, I had a shirt that had that message. 🍫 I bought this chocolate bar from DALI Grocery. It's a German brand, I believe. Well, that's what's written on the label. Looking it up online, it apparently originated from Switzerland. 😋 Mmmm, it's pretty good too. What I love about it is that the pieces are separate so I need not break them at all. 😆 How amazing is that?! I bought two different flavors for now just to give it a try. I do like it so I'll be sure to purchase more next time around.

It's funny how I think the quote is a metaphor for us growing old. 😅 May we all be full of light and color in our old days. That is indeed something to aspire for in life. It's a matter of attitude and mindset. We could always choose to focus on the negative and the worries or choose to look at the bright side of life and focus on solutions. The effort is the same either way, so remember to choose wisely. 😉

Ten days to go... today I got busy ordering refill water tanks, pet supplies for the week, and arranging for mass and flower for Mom's vault for the 31st. 🎉 I'd say it was productive.. is it a perfect day? Well, close to it. The only downside is my pain during the last part of my walk. I did have to exert a little extra effort for that. Can't complain. Overall it was a good day.

I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'm three cents away from $4 on LL. My next goal is to reach $5 -- half way to another cash out.
