The four players on loan from Barça need more playing time.

Hi community!

In this first part of the season, Spotify Camp Nou has detected that Ansu Fati, Astralaga, Iñaki Peña, and Héctor Fort are not getting the expected playing time.

Barça monitors them monthly and then draws conclusions in its reports, although there is no cause for concern.

Barça has four players out on loan this season. Héctor Fort (Elche), Iñaki Peña (Elche), Ansu Fati (Monaco), and Ander Astralaga (Granada) are accumulating playing time, some with the intention of returning and others to forge their own paths in their professional careers, although not all have been getting the playing time they hoped for. The Barça sporting management is monitoring all of them monthly, and after this third international break, the start of the season has been more difficult for some than for others.

Héctor Fort left for Elche after just three official matches for Barça. With Koundé and Eric Garcia ahead of him at right-back, the academy graduate is trying his luck with Eder Sarabia's team. He has played six matches for Elche, starting two, one in LaLiga (against Osasuna) and the other in the Copa del Rey (against Les Garres), and coming off the bench in the other two, totaling 185 minutes. He has yet to register a goal or assist. He was left out of the squad for three consecutive matches (against Celta Vigo, Alavés, and Athletic Bilbao) and was a substitute in the following one (against Espanyol).

Iñaki Peña, also at Elche, is a regular starter, although he has also been a substitute. He has played in six matches, all as a starter, totaling 540 minutes. Of the 12 LaLiga matchdays, he was a substitute in two with Barça and in four with Elche, in addition to the Copa del Rey. He has conceded eight goals and kept two clean sheets. His position as Elche's number one goalkeeper doesn't appear to be in danger.

Ander Astralaga plays for Granada in the Second Division, a team aiming for promotion to the First Division. He is not a regular starter and is competing with Luca Zidane for a starting spot. He has played in three matches: two in LaLiga and one in the Copa del Rey. His record is one win (against CD Ronda), one draw (the last one against Racing), and one loss (against Leganés).

Ansu Fati went to AS Monaco to regain his form, playing time, and form. The Monegasque club has made a total commitment to him, although his playing time has decreased over time. He has scored 6 goals, occasionally proving decisive. He has played 506 minutes, spread across three Champions League matches (two as a starter) and eight Ligue 1 matches, although he has come on as a substitute in the last three games, entering the game in the final minutes.
