Clàudia Pina and her goals from the bench.
Hi community!
The Barça forward, who has scored 11 goals since the Champions League final against Arsenal last May (1-0), has scored five this season as a substitute.
Her eight goals this season have been split between two hat-tricks (against Alhambra and Sevilla) and a brace (against Bayern Munich).

Clàudia Pina (24) is the kind of player every team would love to have in their squad. With exceptional vision and an extraordinary goal-scoring instinct, the forward has become an indispensable player for Barça. Because, if Pina has made one thing clear, it's that she doesn't need to be a starter to shine; her impact is immediate. Whether it's with one goal, two, or even scoring a hat trick in just 29 minutes, as she did against Alhama in the first league match of the season.
In the eight matches the forward has played since that painful 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in Lisbon in the UEFA Women's Champions League final, Pina has shown that wherever there are goals, her name will appear. She has now scored eleven goals since then: six in the Liga F, two in the Champions League, two in the Copa de la Reina final (against Atlético de Madrid), and the other in the friendly against América Femenil in Mexico.
At the beginning of last season, when Pere Romeu was unveiled as first-team coach, he spoke with Pina to express his confidence in her and her importance to the team. The Catalan hasn't been a key player in Romeu's usual starting lineup, but her goals are still on the scoresheet. After beating Atlético de Madrid by two goals to zero—specifically, the Catalan's two goals (24' and 74')—in the 2024/25 Copa de la Reina final, Pina commented that her keys to the season were hard work, confidence, and composure. "Coming off the bench is different than the first time. I have to be ready for when the team needs it, go out onto the field, and give my all," the forward confessed.
The forward has already scored two league hat-tricks (against Alhama and Sevilla) and a brace in the Champions League. In two of those three matches, against Alhama (68') and Bayern (56'), she came off the bench and, within a few minutes, found the ball in the back of the net with absolute ease.
Against Bayern (7-1), Barça's number 9 began the match by resting, having been given the all-clear that same morning after recovering from a right thigh adductor injury. She came on in the 56th minute, replacing Salma Paralluelo, and despite playing less than 45 minutes, scored two goals that reaffirmed that Barça is more than ready to win another international trophy.
Last season, Pina surpassed 40 goals and was recognized as the UEFA Women's Champions League's top scorer, cementing herself as one of the competition's most lethal attackers. And, true to form, she kisses the badge whenever she can to celebrate her goals.
