Love Is Sacrifice

Growing up in my secondary school days there was this popular saying from a book Romeo and Juliet, "Romeo and Juliet died for love, what will you do for love"?. There are different dimensions of love, the one that is so popular is that kind of love that demands something in return. Many people profess love with some kind of selfish agenda. In this kind of love journey only what will be of benefit to them is their priority. Bring up matters that will not be of benefit to them in full they tend to kick against it.

This kind of people are just self centered and don't see anything wrong with it. Even to let go of a single desire is a serious problem to them.

As it is, we all are work in progress so I can't say I have already attained but there are few things I can do for love. This kind of love am about to speak about is not only to my husband or my kids but to anyone that comes across me this is because love is the guiding principle to everything I do in life and that has helped me bag lots of achievements.

Sacrifice
There is no true love without sacrifice, being sacrificial boils down to almost everything one does in life. Sacrifice can cut across ones time or his leisure. Over time I have seen myself being so stressed while trying to help someone which didn't just happen from my head but as a result of my love for such person.

Just last week I met some persons who needed to gain some level of financial assistance, I just wished I could help but no way because there are lots of things on my table. On a second thought I decided to introduce them to Hive. One of those days one of them came over to make her first post, I was so stressed and needed to catch some sleep. It wasn't easy but I had to let go of my sleep to attend to him. Mind you, there is no relationship whatsoever with such a person just that I felt that compassion to help.

There are many people whose love cannot cross their home to another persons home. I know of a man in my locality who is rich in his capacity. This man did his best to establish his kids and wives, when you get to the community he is from no one speaks good of him because his goodness didn't exceed his family. Now am not saying one shouldn't help his family but there should be a broader coverage according to ones capacity.

It is not necessary you give money to anyone that comes across to you but as simple as teaching someone a skill will go a long way. The skill you teach someone will help him more than the money you will give today. Teaching someone to catch fish is better than giving him fish everyday
