OKX in Netherlands With New Exchange and Wallet

OKX, a major crypto exchange is reportedly officially launching in the Netherlands, introducing a web3 wallet and a local trading platform.

On June 3, the exchange announced the official launch of its centralized crypto exchange (CEX) and its OKX Wallet in the country. Dutch customers are enabled by the centralized exchange to trade approximately 150 cryptos, presenting at least 60 trading pairs with the euro.

OKX has incorporated with the regional payment platform, iDeal, to facilitate smooth euro payments and withdrawals.

Thanks to this connectivity, Dutch users of OKX can make free deposits of euros into their accounts. The Single Euro Payments Area, or SEPA, is a European payment system that accepts OKX deposits and withdrawals.

Among the other services, OKX is offering the OKX Wallet, authorizes users to "hold full custody of their own crypto" notes the announcement.

Residents of the Netherlands who wish to register for OKX are asked to go to the OKX website, download the OKX app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, and finish the verification process.

OKX while growing across Europe, it has recently moved on from certain jurisdictions. Along with a few other exchanges, such as Huobi and Gate.io, OKX formally announced the withdrawal of its application for a license under the Hong Kong Virtual Asset Licensing Regime on May 24.
