Crypto Goes Unmentioned in a Debate Between Trump and Biden

The current President of the United States Joe Biden and the former president Donald in their 90 minutes of debate on Thursday did not mention crypto once in spite of crypto lobbyists raising millions of dollars for this election cycle.
On June 27, the first of two debates hosted by CNN centered on the economic, immigration, and foreign policy platforms of each presidential candidate. Because Biden, at 81, and Trump, at 78, are the oldest presidential contenders ever, it also focused briefly on their mental faculties.
The crypto industry wasn't mentioned in inspite a trio crypto backed super political action committees (PACs) seeking over $200 million from large industry backers and spending more than $93 million for an impact on the elections of 2024.
According to OpenSecrets, Fairshake PAC has raised $177.8 million and spent $70.8 million of it on attack advertising for congressional candidates in the 2024 election cycle.
Protect Progress and Defend American Jobs also have raised and spend in millions in 2024 elections.
Donald Trump has vowed to end what he has called Biden's "war on crypto", if got elected and also hosted a meeting with miners of Bitcoin earlier in June, telling them he wants crypto to be "made in America".
Yet, some in the sector, including Dave Ripley, CEO of Kraken, said that Biden is "softening up" toward cryptocurrencies. Others, like cryptocurrency evangelist Mark Cuban, claim that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Gary Gensler would "literally cost Joe Biden the election" because of his agency's recent surge of enforcement actions pertaining to cryptocurrencies.
From May Gallup Polls indicate that crypto is not the priority for American voters, with most ranking the economy, poor governance, inflation and immigration as they key problems facing the nation.
