Splinterlands Frontier Game Progress - Upgrading the Foundation Cards

Hello all friends, hope you all are doing well and enjoying the Splinterlands game playing also. Its been a while I have not talked about my progress in the Frontier game mode and the Foundation card collection. So today I decide to share a post on my current foundation card collection and the future plans. I have foundations packs also, which I earn form the daily rewards. Before proceeding further I would like to appreciate the Splinterlands team for the UI addition they are doing. Even a small change in the UI give a good relief to the players. For example now we can see the number of copies of a particular cards available in my collection can be seen directly in the collection page (see the red highlighted area in below screenshot). In past we were able to see the number of copies only after we click on the card. The color of the numbers also give the information - white means the numbers are nit enough for the next upgrade level and the yellow means you have the enough BCX for the upgrade or level up the card.

Lets come pack to the initial topic - the foundation cards collection. Recently (actually in current season only) I have upgrade all my Summoners aka Archons (I still us ethe old terminology of Splinterlands) to Level 2 except the death team (need only one BCX for the upgrade). Initially I thought to make the purchase the cards directly form the market and start exploring but just before the first purchase I realizes that I am also holding more then 30 foundation packs also. So I decide to open them to try my luck. The Water Archon was already upgraded to level 2 and for other splinters also one or two cards was short. I ended up opening 7 packs and fortunately pulled the required Archon also. One packs surprised me with two legendries which I guess is rare. So below is the screen shot after upgrading the Archons to level 2.
After the Archons I checked the number of copies available for units.

Upgrading the Archon is one ascensional part of the game if you wanna progress and compete with other payers on battlefield. The higher level Units are only playable in the battle if you have Archon also upgraded to suitable Level. Just have a look at below screenshot.

When the Archons are at level 1 which is default level, they can summon the level 1 Units only (irrespective to the rarity of the cards). But when upgraded to level 2 the Archon can summon the maximum level 3 unit. After the level 2 upgradation onwards the level of unit a Archon can summon also varies based on their rarity. Just have a look at the above screenshot again, My AURELIA at level 2 can summon the Common unit of level 3, Rare unit of level 2, Epic unit at level 2 and Legendary unit at level 1. So accordingly I upgraded the cards to suitable level.

Fortunately I was holding some Gold Goil cards (i.e - Dread Tafarian, Dire Bear and Time Bandit) also which were at required level already so I do not upgraded those normal foil cards.
This is for this post and will share the progress of other then Earth cards in other post. I will share the benefit of upgrading and also go thought the stats of my favorite card after leveling up.

Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.

Rental Earnings

Rental earning are not good as most of the cards has been moved to lands. This season the rental is almost zero. Card are more productive on lands in my opinion.

In last season earned 56 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.
