Yeah, I don’t really get how it all works either, but satellite monitoring can definitely warn people in risk zones and help with recovery. At least tools like the landviewer platform can be really useful when it comes to responding to natural disasters like floods. You can instantly see which roads are passable and where to send equipment or emergency supplies.
