Really, the key to success is consistency.
Is there something you have done in HIVE that has made your profile grow more than you would have expected?
I didn't expect games on HIVE to be profitable, but investing early and with consistent participation, they really can help an account to grow by earning HIVE, powering up and gaining influence.

Doing power ups even small but consistently helps the pace of growth. As for gaming on HIVE, if you haven't started yet you could try Splintelands.
