Luck Above Hardwork

Hello friends, how are you doing today?
The 2nd edition of the @hivelearners prompt left me thinking for a while. Luck and Hard work. For everything you achieve in life, one must work in doing that.

You hear people say I was just lucky as I entered, the man liked me and gave me the job out of 20 people seeking that job.
For me, I don't believe in luck. You want to know why?? 🤗, Keep reading..
I believe in grace. Grace is what speaks in replace of hard work. It is simply God favoring you and making things easy for you.
Hard Work is like struggling to get something and even with the endurance, you're not sure of getting it.

Let me use this scenario. You're rushing to work and you are late already, getting to the park there was scarcity of cars but more passengers. Now one car comes and everyone is struggling to enter because they are also late to work. You managed and struggled to enter, that's likely to hard work
Now in the same scenario,when people are waiting for a car and struggling . a friend of yours appears with his car unknowingly to you and gives you a drive that is likely to you being lucky.

There's this saying that if success is measured by hard work that wheelbarrow pushers will be one of the richest people on earth. Well even in luck, there must be little effort. You can't just sit in your house and luck will come to you there. You will have to keep yourself busy and get something done just if someone wants to bless you through it.

Last semester was really a tough one.After a series of classes, assignments, seminars. It was an exam. During the exam it wasn't easy because I tried to cover up what we have learnt and even some topics our lecturer couldn't reach. Attended tutorials too.
I have this couple of friends I read with and sit close to during exams. To the best of our knowledge we read even still day break just to get good grades.
Our exams weren't that bad at least in any exam, we saw questions we would answer if not all. We are always happy after our exams. Getting to when they brought out the result. I don't like checking mine first due to traffic on my school site. So my friends, who we all read and sat with, tried checking theirs.

One call to another I got from them they were all sad. Each one of them got two carry over, that is F. The shocking part is that it wasn't just 1 carryover but two for each of them. When they told me, my mind skipped and I became really scared to check mine. I started encouraging them one by one but deep down I was scared too. So after a few days I decided to check mine and I found out I didn't have any F. Like how did this happen when we all sat together. At this time I knew it was God and not just luck but God's grace. Although the result wasn't as perfect as I wanted it to be, I was still happy.

When it comes to hard work I would say. I put more effort here on the hive. It's my constant engagement, posting that has helped me.
These incidents in my life have proven that yes someone can just be favored. Not everyone is like you, that's why you should not compete with anyone. Some people has joined something evil to get money and when you ask them they will say it's luck
