Unbelieving What I Once Believed// LOH Contest #300.
Hello beautiful ladies π.
Welcome to the first week in the month of August, hope the month is already treating you well, I remain your favorite girl and it has been awhile in this space so watch out for my sweet return as I take you to the land of wonders and imagination. I would like to go with the second prompt topic for the week which says: what is something you believed as a child that you later found out was not true.

There is always a story to be told when we were little, it was either a very scary tale or an exciting one but it was always aimed at teaching us a lesson so we could learn from it, and it is in that light that I would be sharing one of my childhood tales with you all so you can say it is a privilege.
I was a child that was afraid of almost everything, the noise that rat made on our roofs, to the shadows of clothes in the room and even to the darkness itself, yet there was one thing that felt so real which scared the living day light out of me every single time. You know the moon in the sky, yes that one that shines so bright in the night, I believed that whenever I was walking outside in the night that the moon use to follow me.
Anytime I stops it stopped, if I take a step it as well take a step with me and you would always see my head up facing the sky to see if it has stop following me, it took a very long length of growth and maturity for me to unbelieve what I once believed to be real, and when I realized that, I just ended up laughing at my self because I subjected myself into imaginations, unanswered questions and fears for years, well this is the story of my life.
It was nice recapping on such experience with you, see you next time π.

Lol. The moon doesn't follow anybody . I remember as a child how I would always look up just to see when the moon follows me. But baggy that's not true.
You know, when I was little I noticed how the moon sort of followed me too while I gazed at it from the family car as my father drove in the dark rural road one night. I wasn't afraid at that time since I had two of Teddy bear toys with me in the back seat.

That's sweet, as a child our mind works limited and we just go on the face value of things, there is no logic to it
!LOLZ,
I hope that moon π is no longer following you. Indeed its a funny myth that most of us experienced while growing up.
But do you know that some adults still fear the noise of rat and even nurse fear seeing rat run around?
Its an amazing life, we keep learning and developing.

I think every child has a story with the moon. Many get scared of it, but for me it was the opposite. I used to stare at it all night while my dad drove long hours to get home. It comforted me and kept me wondering how it hung up there with all the stars. It kept me company the whole way, and now my children love watching the full moon tooo
So funny, even I ended up laughing at you π€£π.
I'd hear of that too though, but I never believed it. What I believed then about the moon was that someone or an animal actually lived inside of it.
Thanks for sharing.
