If Money Expires Like Perishable>> Hive-Reachout Weekly Prompt 88.

I worked in a provision shop before resuming and there is this one thing they usually do that made me want to relate it with our contest topic for the week which says: What If Money Expires. So stay tuned as we relay this together.

Back then in the shop there was a day we noticed that the sardine we had in the shop was expiring that year and particularly that month so we devised a technique which we used eventually, we brought down the price from #900 to #500 so that we don't eventually loose totally from that product but when the expiring date drew from weeks to days remaining we decided to start giving customers as a gift when ever they buy something from us during that period.

I could remember a woman who we gave about three pieces of that sardine, how she was so excited and grateful that she got that gift from us and I was just standing at a side of the shop smiling sheepishly saying to myself, if only this woman know that we did this because of this particular reason her gestures for gratitude would have reduced. That how we treat goods that there expiring date is near in the shop, we either share it within ourselves which is the workers and if it's too much we now give it out to customers as gift, then this become a loss to the owner of the shop because the money which he used and purchase such goods hasn't been retrieved yet.

So now relating it to the money aspect where money now assumes the position of those goods that usually carries production date and expiration date, imagine money as the goods that is been produced within 24hours and after production it would immediately expires after 24hours, just thinking about this alone is really ridiculous as there have not been any goods like that been produced on the surface of the earth that I have seen.

So for me I would first of all adjust my working days from going to work Monday to Saturday, to working Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays... It will come in turn of shifts, if I make money 24hours I will definitely need the next 24 hours which will entail the next day to spend it, having gotten that out of the way it will now be left on how and what I will spend the money on, what to do plenty oooh but let's start like this.

My good diet feeding with the different classes of food present would be first taken care of for the whole day, then I would love to just go around and solve people's need because I mean who makes that kind of money just to spend it on themselves so I will help people like those wandering on the streets instead of being in school, those hawking to survive, those in school but struggle to pay, yeah all those kind of people, I meant even extend it to those in the hospital but can't afford hospital bills. Then I would do an everyday investment where I buy lands on daily basis, I invest in businesses that needs investors, I invest in the name of my father, mother, sisters, brothers and many more.

I would make sure to spend all of my daily earnings before I go back home, even doing charity work should be among the list where I get foodstuffs, clothes for widows, less privilege, orphans...
