Cheers To Those Who Are Older And Wiser// LOH Contest #258.

Hmmmm! That's me breathing down heavily more like a sign of relief, I think this talk of maturity is what I have been battling with for the past week and I have even written about it at some point but this week's own is added with a little bit of spice termed 'Aging' so for this contest we would be exploring 2️⃣ When we hear the phrase: "Aging is an obligation, maturing is a choice," do you agree? Do you think aging is an obligation? Do you think maturing is optional?

For my better understanding and probably for yours I would be breaking down the key terms point starting with aging which means the natural occurrence whereby a person becomes older and more experienced in life where as maturity is the growth from one level to another level psychological, emotional or socially, so having gone through this route let's take a turn, aging practically has to do with the age of a person and it's a shift that goes in a hierarchy order like from age 1,2,3,4,5... While maturity partially has to do with aging but not entirely the age stuff.

That's why growth is very necessary and am not talking about the growth whereby your age increases but growth intellectually, for instance the mentality of being mature associated with a person's age but for one who is intellectually sound he or she would know that maturity is not by seniority. You don't choose to grow instead by your everyday living you are drawing nearer to the grave (typically implies aging), is not something you go and think about whether you want to grow old or not it consciously and unconsciously happen to you daily with or without your permission.

While aging comes or occurs naturally maturity on the other hand gives you the free will to accept it or not, for maturity it's more like clicking the accept or decline button which is totally left for you to decide and you making that decision is by your coherence with growth at point when it's needed, it is a personal choice collaborating with you putting in literal efforts which ends up culturing and grooming you.

So what I think about aging and maturity is that all of us age eventually but in that process of aging we choose either to mature in the process or to remain in one level and you staying at one level psychological is what we describe as you growing and leaving your senses on the ground, so this is me saying a total yess to that quote aging is an obligation while maturity is a choice.
