1/🧵 If Time Gave Me One Chance

Where I came from, we have a native saying that says we should not be faster than our time; wait patiently for that time to come. Yeah! That is something most people do believe in, but sometimes when I am in the corner of my room, just like how I'm seated there now, I sometimes do ask myself, what if I could see ahead of the present? What if I could see everything that would happen in the future because I really want to see where this country is going? Maybe our prayers for a better country and leaders eventually got answers, or it grew worse.

Just like I usually watch in those fictional movies where people can teleport to the past and future, if I have that superpower, I will not think twice before going to the past to embrace myself more, take things easy on myself, and forgive myself over and over again to face what is ahead of me with a clear and stronger mindset.
