1/🧵 I don’t have the typical touristy material people share from Vienna, but that’s hardly a loss – we already have thousands of such Worldmappin pins. It results from meeting with locals rather than roaming the city as a tourist.

2/🧵 Still, I captured a few snapshots of street art, both official and unofficial, that caught my eye. Vienna is, after all, a city of artists. While it’s usually associated with music, let’s set aside performing arts and the museum hub in Museumsquartier – that would be a bit too predictable.
3/🧵 I’ll take you around several contemporary and historical pieces of art that one might easily miss when just following the obligatory touristy “must see” stuff. From Christ with a Christ with a Toothache to a mural reflecting Dutch Golden Age painting.
4/🧵 And we’ll end up with some guerilla art. No worries, though, this guerilla is harmless! Ready? Read my post then!
