Weekend-Engagement writing topics: WEEK 160-Draw your ideal date
Greetings hivers, Friday is here and with it, the weekend, so I hope we all have excellent days of enjoyment and rest. It had been weeks since I came to participate in the weekly challenge proposed by @galenkp every Friday, with the purpose of giving an answer to one of the generated themes, so it was not difficult for me to choose a theme, since I felt very comfortable as soon as I saw the one that mentions the illustration since I love to draw.
Draw your ideal date
In one single drawing/painting show us what your ideal date looks like. Your artwork doesn't have to be good, it's funnier if it's not!
When we are in love any date is ideal or at least that's my opinion, because we feel pleased particularly us ladies who are the subtle part of the relationship and that's why men look for ways to pamper us and make us feel good.
I remember that I had many love dates that for me were perfect because they were full of beautiful details that made me feel very good, I guess my partner always knew how to plan them because he knew my tastes so he always surprised me on each date, besides his kindness, he was also a very detailed and romantic person, which made everything fit perfectly, I think that made me feel at ease in each meeting without giving room for any demand because I always felt pleased.
With the passing of time I have started to think and given the occasion, I feel that I want a next date on the beach, in a place where only my partner and I are, in the company of all the splendor of the sea, that the music that sounds are the gentle waves of the sea and our light is that of the beautiful moon and the stars in the immensity of the sky.
As I love to illustrate, I dared to make my drawing of the ideal date in the traditional way, with which I am not very good, since I am dedicated to digital; however, I took the risk and here I show you what I would like to happen on that next date.
Here I tell you what was the step by step of my ideal date in drawing.
The first thing I drew on my white sheet to start with the sketch, was the couple in love, where you can see that the man holds the lady in his arms, they are a few meters from the seashore, as you see you can still see the gentleman's feet and of course the reflection of the legs of both can be seen in the water, also in the sketch is part of the moon, stars and the sea with its waves very accentuated.
Here comes the difficult part for me, which is to make use of the crayons; so I started using black to color the couple, since the date is supposed to be at night, the reflection of the legs I placed in a dark lilac tone, the waves I underlined with light blue and the sky I painted with navy blue very softly.
Continue working on the sky, so incorporate a darker shade of blue than the previous one and just near the moon simulate the clouds covering a large part of it, the stars outline them with navy blue, in the same direction of the moon up to where the couple is, add a lighter shade of color different from the blue creating clarity with the light red color.
Already in this part, I started to work on the waves, adding different shades of blue so that they can differentiate their movements.
Finally, with the black color what I did was to draw part of a palm tree that overlooks this landscape to give it the final touch.
That was my whole scene of my ideal date, which I hope to be able to make come true in the not too distant future, because dreams do come true.
