Having That Strong Mind
When you are young you have to look up to the strong, the smart, the talented, the brave, then as you get older you realise how often you have to actually completely overlook the people.
The most worthy of your respect, those who quietly work hard, every day doing an actually useful job, those who have been constantly present for your family and your friends.
Those who were never self-centred and selfish enough to put themselves first and get the sources they deserve. Those who had the courage to actually ignore the mimetic games and competitions and those who were actually faithful to their core values and who lived a uniquely inspiring story worth sharing with the next generation.

Welcome to Hive, @gifa—your reflection on learning to respect the people who quietly show up for family and friends really resonates. There’s something powerful in recognizing those who stay faithful to their values rather than chase status or compete for attention. InLeo Threads (inleo.io) could be a good place to share shorter reflections like this and start conversations with others. Is there someone in your life whose quiet example helped shape this perspective?
