En esta oportunidad les traigo un post distinto, dudé en miles de veces en escribirlo puesto que mi corazón está lleno de nostalgia y la ansiedad me consume, pero soy una escritora por ratos y soñadora de tiempo completo, así que quiero usar mi espacio para comentar mi sentir y como la esperanza se ha apoderado de mi estilo de vida.

This time I bring you a different post, I hesitated thousands of times to write it because my heart is full of nostalgia and anxiety consumes me, but I am a writer at times and a full time dreamer, so I want to use my space to comment my feelings and how hope has taken over my lifestyle.

Hoy se celebran la Elecciones presidenciales 2024 en nuestro país, la “pequeña Venecia” de soñadores y gente que sueña tanto como trabaja, y se cobija bajo la esperanza en cada noche donde demonios quieren perturbar su paz.

Me desperté a la 5 de la mañana y lo primero que hice fue agradecer a Dios, el día había llegado y al mirar a mi bebe por un momento sentí miedo por lo incierto de los giros del destino, pero al ver el panorama en mi familia en sus distintas formas pude entender que mi decisión haría una diferencia espiritual o no.

Así que con la mejor actitud salí en busca de ejercer mi derecho al voto, y aunque no tomé muchas fotografías porque me sentía muy nerviosa les comparto unas que representan un poco lo orgullosa que me siento de mis raíces.

Today the 2024 Presidential Elections are being held in our country, the “little Venice” of dreamers and people who dream as much as they work, and shelter under hope in every night where demons want to disturb their peace.

I woke up at 5 in the morning and the first thing I did was to thank God, the day had arrived and looking at my baby for a moment I felt fear for the uncertainty of the twists of fate, but seeing the picture in my family in its various forms I could understand that my decision would make a spiritual difference or not.

So with the best attitude I went out to exercise my right to vote, and although I didn't take many pictures because I felt very nervous I share with you some that represent a little of how proud I feel of my roots.

Soy de esas escritoras que sueña con vivir de su arte, quiero inspirar y cambiar el mundo a granos pequeños hasta hacer una montaña, tender una mano a quien lo necesite y enseñarle a mi pequeño que rendirse no es opción, que el buen criterio es una necesidad y la autonomía nace del momento en donde asumes tu responsabilidad de elegir.

No quiero sonar a fanática, tampoco soy una de esa pseudo-políticas que creen saberlo todo, pero no puedo permitir que se pisotee la esperanza de quien solo quiere ser feliz, llámenme ilusa o lo que quieran, pues cuando hoy salí a votar quise decirle al mundo que yo estoy esperanzada en que un cambio para bien o para mal, ya es una necesidad.

Muchos critican al esperanzado haciéndoles quedar como un niño que mira el mundo de colores brillantes sin maldad, sin embargo, yo creo que puedes vivir con fe aun después de ser realista, aun después de mirar lo terrible a los ojos y levantarte, aun cuando tus fuerzas están por flaquear y desaparecer.

I am one of those writers who dreams of making a living from her art, I want to inspire and change the world to small grains until I make a mountain, lend a hand to those who need it and teach my little ones that giving up is not an option, that good judgment is a necessity and autonomy is born from the moment when you assume your responsibility to choose.

I do not want to sound like a fanatic, I am not one of those pseudo-politicians who think they know everything, but I cannot allow the hope of those who only want to be happy to be trampled, call me deluded or whatever you want, because when I went out to vote today I wanted to tell the world that I am hopeful that a change for better or for worse, is already a necessity.

Many criticize the hopeful making them look like a child who looks at the world in bright colors without evil, however, I believe that you can live with faith even after being realistic, even after looking the terrible in the eyes and getting up, even when your strength is about to falter and disappear.

Cree porque te hace humano, ilusiónate porque te hace soñador y nunca te rindas porque los valientes somos más.

No puedo obligar al mundo a seguir mi línea de pensamiento, tampoco se si estoy en lo correcto, pero si de algo estoy segura es que la toma de acción desde la fe opaca la queja.

El mundo seguirá girando aún cuando todo se oscurezca, sin embargo, nunca dejes de creer en que amanecerá y mirarás la alegría inundar tu ser, esto aplica para todo no solo para un proceso electoral, pues cada persona tiene un equipaje y su universo aunque afín nunca se compara con el de otro.

Si has llegado hasta acá quiero enviarte las mayores bendiciones y darte un abrazo, recuerda nunca perder lo maravilloso de soñar y gracias por leer a alguien que lleva la esperanza como estilo de vida.

Believe because it makes you human, hope because it makes you a dreamer and never give up because the brave ones are more.

I can't force the world to follow my line of thought, I don't know if I'm right, but if there is one thing I am sure of, it is that taking action from faith overshadows complaint.

The world will continue to turn even when everything goes dark, however, never stop believing that it will dawn and you will see the joy flood your being, this applies to everything not only for an electoral process, because each person has a baggage and your universe although related never compares to another.
