Moving energies: office deep cleaning / Moviendo las energías: limpieza profunda de oficina (ESP-ENG)

Espero que se encuentren bien y felices. Feliz estoy yo de haber terminado esta “movida de energías”, porque sí, luego de varios pedidos de agendas, un taller dividido en 2 sesiones y un montón de cosas más, además de que no me sentía bien del todo, era necesario limpiar, organizar y mover todo dentro de la oficina. ¿No les pasa que a veces no se sienten bien y creen que organizando todo se sentirán mejor? Pues estos días he estado así y me ha ayudado a sentirme mejor. Así que esto fue manos a la obra.

Este cuarto intento convertirlo en la oficina de Poética. Tengo 2 bibliotecas y un escritorio, que está un poco viejo pero espero remodelarlo. Ahí tengo todos los materiales para hacer agendas y planners, dictar talleres, hacer cajas y otros proyectos de papelería creativa y mi rincón para grabar. Pero todo estaba en caos completo y absoluto, así que empecé con la biblioteca pequeña, aquí se supone que guardaba los materiales para el armado de planners, pero como dije que movería las energías lo saque de ahí.

Empecé empacando libros que tenía y que ya no irán en esta habitación. Limpie los niveles y fui agregando la impresora (que no la usare por estos momentos), la guillotina, 3 cajas de almacenamiento que guardan mi mini cinch, otras herramientas de encuadernado y materiales para talleres. De ultimo añadi los caballetes que tengo guardados en una bolsa.

Con esa biblioteca más despejada, intente despejar un poco el escritorio, donde más que todo estaba todo lo que no tenía sitio. También saque los materiales del bolso de taller. Me gusta ordenar haciendo “montañitas” (no se que tan normal sea esto), voy haciendo montañas de cosas que van juntas en un sitio. Así que todas las cartulinas fueron una montaña, empecé a separar los marcadores en distintos valdes: 2 de marcadores acrílicos, 1 de marcadores punta ultra fina y lapiceros de gel blanco, reglas, tijeras, marcadores permanentes, marcadores para pizarra y otro organizador largo donde tenía lapiceros, resaltadores, lápices, gomas y demás.

Para la biblioteca grande, fui quitando y limpiando. En el primer nivel puse todo lo necesario para armar agendas: anillas, cartón, papeles, cintas. En el segundo nivel iba todos los materiales para dar talleres: cartulina, guías, libros, y mis amados crayolas que van en una lonchera gigante. En el tercer nivel reorganice lo que eran cartulinas, papel lustrillo, papel crepe, foami, entre otros, siempre separados por las bolsas shein (una de las mejores formas de reciclarlas, ya que son excelentes para almacenar resguardando el contenido). En el cuarto tramo coloque las pinturas acrílicas, pinturas de óleo, paletas, pinceles y lápices de grabado.

Ya con las bibliotecas listas, me faltaba organizar la distribución. Con la aspiradora aspiré el piso y fui moviendo los muebles. Al principio estaba la biblioteca grande, el escritorio y la biblioteca pequeña pegada de la ventana, pero el escritorio quedaba algo oscuro y cuando grababa no se veía bien, así que decidí dejar las bibliotecas para la entrada y al lado de la ventana el escritorio. Ahora me da mejor luz para grabar y nuestra oficina está lista, con las energías movidas, lista para ser desordenada, digo, para crear nuevas obras.

I hope you are well and happy. I am happy to have finished this “energy move”, because yes, after several requests for agendas, a workshop divided into 2 sessions and a lot of other things, besides not feeling well at all, it was necessary to clean, organize and move everything inside the office. Don't you sometimes feel bad and think that organizing everything will make you feel better? Well, these days I have been like that and it has helped me feel better. So this is what I did.

I'm trying to turn this room into the office of Poetics. I have 2 bookcases and a desk, which is a bit old but I hope to remodel it. There I have all the materials to make agendas and planners, teach workshops, make boxes and other creative stationery projects and my corner to record. But everything was in complete and utter chaos, so I started with the small library, here I was supposed to keep the materials for making planners, but as I said I would move the energies out of there.

I started packing books that I had and that will no longer go in this room. I cleaned up the levels and added the printer (which I won't be using right now), the guillotine, 3 storage boxes that hold my mini cinch, other binding tools and workshop materials. Lastly, I added the easels that I have stored in a bag.

With that library clearer, I tried to clear a little bit the desk, where mostly everything that didn't have room was. I also took the materials out of the workshop bag. I like to sort by making “mountains” (I don't know how normal this is), I make mountains of things that go together in one place. So all the cardstock was a mountain, I started to separate the markers in different valdes: 2 of acrylic markers, 1 of ultra fine tip markers and white gel pens, rulers, scissors, permanent markers, whiteboard markers and another long organizer where I had pens, highlighters, pencils, erasers and so on.

For the large bookcase, I removed and cleaned up. On the first level I put everything I needed to make agendas: rings, cardboard, papers, ribbons. On the second level I put all the materials for workshops: cardboard, guides, books, and my beloved crayons that go in a giant lunch box. On the third level I reorganized the cardboard, lustrillo paper, crepe paper, foami, among others, always separated by shein bags (one of the best ways to recycle them, as they are excellent for storing and protecting the contents). In the fourth section I placed the acrylic paints, oil paints, palettes, brushes and engraving pencils.

Now that the bookcases were ready, I had to organize the layout. With the vacuum cleaner I vacuumed the floor and moved the furniture. At first I had the big library, the desk and the small library next to the window, but the desk was a bit dark and when I was recording it was not visible, so I decided to leave the libraries for the entrance and the desk next to the window. Now it gives me better light to record and our office is ready, with the energies moved, ready to be messy, I mean, to create new works.
