I hope you are well, happy and that this is an excellent start of the year for each of you, creators. It's been a while since I've been in this community, I wanted to tell you that lately at the end of the month, I like to make a lettering composition with the most important and special events in the month. It's like a way to thank and remember the beautiful moments and lettering is my favorite way for that, it's perfect to transmit emotions through different styles of letters and colors.

The first thing I did was to define the events of the month and I made a pencil sketch of my letters. I used cursive and sans serif styles. I chose a somewhat Christmassy color palette: red, green, gold, black, although I highlighted certain things with navy blue and purple.

After I had the sketch ready, I started with the title. For this I used black marker for the cursive letters and highlighted them with a shadow with gold marker.

I decided to work by event or date. Each one with different colors, so that they don't get confused and each one can stand out separately. I show you a little of how the project evolved:

It was a project in which I spent about 3 hours, drawing bases and adding details. I love how the leaf comes to life as I draw, it's very satisfying. December was a beautiful month and this was my most beautiful way to commemorate and close the year 2024.

¡Hola hivers!💜

Espero que se encuentren bien, felices y que este sea un excelente inicio de año para cada uno de ustedes, creadores. Tiempo sin pasar por esta comunidad, quería contarles que últimamente al finalizar el mes, me gusta hacer una composición de lettering con los acontecimientos más importantes y especiales en el mes. Es como una forma de agradecer y rememorar los momentos bonitos y el lettering es mi forma preferida para eso, es perfecto para transmitir emociones a través de diferentes estilos de letras y colores.

Lo primero que hice fue definir los acontecimientos del mes y arme un boceto a lápiz de mis letras. Use estilos cursivos y sans serif. Elegi una paleta de colores algo navideña: rojo, verde, dorado, negro, aunque resalte ciertas cosas con azul marino y morado.

Luego de tener el boceto listo, inicie con el título. Para este use marcador negro para las letras cursivas y las destaque con una sombra con marcador dorado.

Decidí ir trabajando por acontecimiento o fecha. Cada uno con colores diferentes, cosa de que no se confundan y cada uno pueda resaltar por separado. Les muestro un poco como fue evolucionando el proyecto:

Fue un proyecto en el que estuve unas 3 horas, dibujando bases y agregando detalles. Me encanta como la hoja va agarrando vida al ir dibujando, es muy satisfactorio. Diciembre fue un mes bonito y esta fue mi forma más bonita de conmemorar y cerrar el año 2024.
