Espero que se encuentren bien y felices. El mes pasado cumplí años y me hicieron algunos regalos artísticos para poder hacer lettering, cajitas y demás manualidades que se me ocurran. Les tome fotos, hice pruebas y había jurado que les había contado, pero como dicen mejor tarde que nunca.

Primero les contaré sobre mis autoregalos. Esta vez pedi un mat de corte de 45 x 25 cm, es de color naranja y basicamente es un tapete para poder cortar sin dañar la mesa (mi mama esta que me bota de la casa por el estado de la mesa). La idea de comprarlo es que como hemos estado haciendo cajas, pues es más cómodo y seguro hacerlo encima. Admito que lo he estado usando también como base para mis videos.

Lo otro fueron unos marcadores posca. Desde que tengo mi emprendimiento siempre he soñado con mis poscas. Aprendí de marcadores de pintura acrílica gracias a videos de ellos, y aunque he probado otras marcas chinas que han sido buenas, necesitaba usarlos. Así que pedí uno blanco y uno dorado. Mi idea era pedir un set completo, pero no son exactamente económicos, así que quise probar con los básicos. Me encantaron. El blanco, que no es un color fácil, es de mis favoritos. Aquí lo pueden ver en accion, ha sido mi favorito para decorar bolsas de regalo. El dorado queda perfecto en superficies oscuras. Asi que aspiro reunir para comprar un set más grande y con otras puntas, ya que estas son 0.7 - 1.3. Todavía quedan unas mas finas y otras más gruesas.

Los siguientes fueron regalos de @rulirecomienda. Un block de dibujo especial para marcadores de la marca motarro. Confieso que lo amo, trae 20 hojas, tiene un gramaje de 230, algo genial para usar marcadores y hasta pintura, y un tamaño A5 (parecido al media carta), lo que lo hace fácil de transportar y de usar.

Ahora, aunque dice que es para marcadores, quise hacer una prueba con varios materiales. Aunque admito que el papel tiene una textura bastante lisa como si fuera cartulina y hasta un poco brillante. Así que puse a prueba: lapiz, lapicero, marcadores de agua, marcadores de alcohol, resaltadores borrables, marcadores de pintura acrílica, acuarela y gouache. Aquí les dejo la foto con la prueba de cada uno. Creo que lo que menos aguanto fue la acuarela y sentí que con el gouache la pintura no quedaba bien, pero para los marcadores fue perfecto.

Lo otro fueron unos gouaches en tubo de la marca motarro. Son muy parecidas a las témperas, las probé encima del block y me parecieron fácil de usar. Son unos tubitos muy cuchis y vienen 12 colores, lo que me parece genial porque trae variedad (aunque siempre podemos mezclar para el color faltante). Todavía no las pruebo a fondo, espero pronto contarles un poquito más de ellas.

Ame mis regalos y se que les daré bastante uso tanto para hacer lettering como manualidades, pronto les traigo nuevos tutoriales usandolos.

I hope you are well and happy. Last month I had my birthday and they gave me some artistic gifts so I could do lettering, boxes and other crafts I could think of. I took pictures, made proofs and had sworn I had told you about them, but as they say better late than never.

First I will tell you about my self gifts. This time I ordered a 45 x 25 cm cutting mat, it is orange and basically it is a mat to be able to cut without damaging the table (my mom is about to throw me out of the house because of the state of the table). The idea of buying it is that as we have been making boxes, it is more comfortable and safer to do it on top. I admit that I have been using it also as a base for my videos.

The other thing was some posca markers. Since I have had my business venture I have always dreamed of my posca markers. I learned about acrylic paint markers thanks to videos of them, and although I have tried other Chinese brands that have been good, I needed to use them. So I ordered one white and one gold. My idea was to order a full set, but they're not exactly inexpensive, so I wanted to try the basics. I loved them. The white, which is not an easy color, is one of my favorites. Here you can see it in action, it has been my favorite for decorating gift bags. The gold looks perfect on dark surfaces. So I'm hoping to get together to buy a larger set with other tips, as these are 0.7 - 1.3. There are still some thinner and some thicker ones left.

The following were gifts from @rulirecomienda. A special drawing pad for markers from the brand motarro. I confess I love it, it comes with 20 sheets, has a weight of 230, which is great for markers and even paint, and an A5 size (similar to a half letter), which makes it easy to carry and use.

Now, even though it says it's for markers, I wanted to do a test with various materials. Although I admit that the paper has a rather smooth texture as if it were cardboard and even a bit shiny. So I put to the test: pencil, pencil, water markers, alcohol markers, erasable highlighters, acrylic paint markers, watercolor and gouache. Here is the photo with the test of each one. I think the least resistant was the watercolor and I felt that with the gouache the paint did not look good, but for the markers it was perfect.

The other thing was some gouaches in tube of the brand motarro. They are very similar to tempera, I tried them on the block and I found them easy to use. They are very cute little tubes and come in 12 colors, which I think is great because it brings variety (although we can always mix for the missing color). I haven't tried them yet, I hope to tell you a little bit more about them soon.

I love my gifts and I know I will use them a lot for lettering and crafts, soon I will bring you new tutorials using them.
