The Arrest followe a French Warrant issued against the CEO of Telegram over allegations thats the lack of moderation on Telegram has Facilitated Illegal Activities such as Money Laundering, Drugs Trafficking and the sharing the Pedophilic Content.

According to the media, after receiving the news, will the Government of India open its own investigation? Is Really Telegram is accessing Illegal activities like Money Laundering, Cyberbullying and Promoting Terrorism. There is no doubt that Telegram has achieved a lot of success in a short period. It has given competition to greats like Mobile App like WhatsApp and TikTok. All the YouTubers or professionals give only telegram links,as it is considered a professional platform where you can easily share pdf, presentation no matters the size of the file whereas whatsApp is considered a personal platform.

Whatever decision the Indian government takes,I would absolutely agree with that. I have full faith to India government,the government will more focused on the Peer to Peer Activities, Final decision will be out once the investigation will be completed by them. Whatever the government does, it will be for our welfare. As security and safety are important is really matters for us, as nowadays illegal online crimes are increasing rapidly.

If I give my personal opinion, I also use Telegram and I am also an active user of it. I have joined 3 to 4 channels,Through which I download and watch the latest movie or series.Even if Telegram banned in India, it will not make much difference to me, as I don't much access it. The question is that if it Banned in India, will cyber crimes stop? If one way for those who are involved in such illegal activities is closed, they will look for some other application and method to run their business.
