It's a contrasting issue, because most people who have the most comfortable jobs in Nigeria, tend to be the ones with the wrongest attitude to work while the ones struggling on the streets to make ends meet are the ones with the motivation to work.

This is so true, the ones with seemingly comfortable jobs tend to do their jobs with so much laxity, this is very common in the government sector, while those out on the street are the ones giving their best shots at whatever they are doing.
For the guy in the video, surely he would not be going back to the traffic, except he doestnt maximize this opportunity.

Definitely. I've seen the ones in the public sector and how they tend to become lazy overtime. I feel that this has to do with the complacency of the Nigerian government in general. Having the money and a good pay should motivate people to work harder, but it's a contrasting issue in Nigeria. When people feel that their job is safe irrespective of their attitude to work, this makes them misuse the opportunities they have.
