Afternoon at my mothers place

Today I visited my mother for Lunch and spent some time with her in the Garden, I cut some Lavender dir me and we ate something together.
When I cut the Lavender there where an lot of bees, butterflies and others insects around feasting in the lavender.

Wow! This is a hawk moth! I've seen them too, but they're rare in my parts. People mistook them for hummingbirds by ignorance.
Yes i know, unfortunately hummigbirds are only in the Amerikas. But the hawk moth i can See every year at the lavender of my mother. I plan to also have some lavender somewhere. But i have to find a nice Sunny Spot at my Garden.
I am in awe each time I see a hawk moth. They are incredible.
