In TBA#1, I mentioned this would be a weekly event in substitute to the POC events that was negatively impacted by bots that stopped working. Today, I am not committing to a weekly Team Building Activity event but on a frequency based on my workload, feedback and support requirement for our PEPT community.

Our Team Building Series will include some detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to benefit from our #PEPT community on Hive and from ePayTraffic products and services.

Current Team Building Activity #2 - Getting started with PEPT

Completing this activity, which is one of many in a series of activities with multitasking components, will generate some rewards and exposer of whatever you want to share in the world.

We want you to be a Hiver and a member of ePayTraffic. This blog will be advertised and promoted all over the world with an expectation of getting new signups for ePayTraffic with some Onboarding to Hive. Part 2 and 3 will be more about advertising and Onboarding to Hive blockchain with the goal of making it as easy as possible for newbies.

Now, before you signup for ePayTraffic, please read the content published on the site. I find it of great value to read the content of a new site as a visitor before completing a signup form. Again, this current TBA, Part 1, is more focused in guiding newbies joining ePayTraffic where the next part will focus more with Onboarding to Hive. Project ePayTraffic Collaborative Advertising

Clicking on the above link will bring you to the signup page using a referral link from one of our collaborative advertiser. The referring member will be displayed below the signup form. Keep in mind, PEPT is part of a living process and journey. This may have started and is still mostly a one man operation but that is going to change. PEPT will be serving members for many generations. You do not need to give up much information to get started. PEPT does have a Know Your Customer (KYC) policy supported by a unique Member Quality Scorecard (MQS) point system. You will be earning some MQS points from logins, clicking on some ads and more. All part of team building activities.

If you already have an ePayTraffic account, you may create another as long as you use a different email during the signup process.

I ask that you make notes along the way and share as a comment so we can improve on our existing services. I am following the same steps as you but using hivetba or salesept as the username. I am also following this guide and making notes as part of a process improvement initiative. Changes may not be completed right away. It may initiate a mini-project that involves members being rewarded for their project participation.

On the signup form, if you mouseover the fields you will see information on the expected data to enter. Once you submit your registration, you will be presented with the Thank You For Joining page that you should read.

You will need to visit your email and click on the verification link that was sent. If you don't and you try to login you will see the following.

Once you have verified your account you may login and the first time you do you will be presented with a One Time Offer (OTO). The initial OTO is informative but others will have the ability to purchase some products or services at a discounted price.

The OTO presented to you may not be identical to the above snippet.

Once you acknowledge the OTO you will be presented with the main member page. Take your time to read and click a few links. For this TBA, we will focus on getting you started with viewing member ads and earning some rewards. Future TBAs will focus on creating advertising campaigns, promoting your links and much more.

To view other member ads you need to have defined your own member ad. For now, I will show you a shortcut to our surfing page even if your not ready to create an ad campaign. So click the Surf menu link and you will be presented with the following.

All you need to do is click the Add button link below the ad campaign fields. A default campaign will be created and that will satisfy the surfing requirement. It is done this way to make it as easy as possible for people to join and start surfing as quickly as possible. Now, if you already have a favorite link to advertise then by all means, create your ad campaign. Your ad campaign will be reviewed and approved. But not the default one because they get deleted.

Once your campaign is created you can click the Surf menu link once again. A member Start Page Ad will be displayed. In our example, our fjGraphics site is displayed and I have marked it with 10 points of interest detailed below.

The above is a snippet of the surfing dashboard. The top part, numbered items from 1 to 5 make up the header of the surfing frame/page. The lower section, numbered items 6 to 10 is the footer bar. The space between is the viewing section for the member advertised site. This section will also display some claim pages and other pages from various links sent to the surfing frame.

1 - Count Down Timer

As a free member, the default surfing timer is 15 seconds. When your surfing session starts you will see the number 15 count down to 0 and then you will see the word GO with a number beside it to be verified. So if the number is 4 then you click on the number 4 that is displayed to the right. If you clicked the correct number then the timer restarts and a new member url is displayed in the surfing frame. If you click on the wrong number you will see the words, Incorrect click displayed in the section item number 3.

2 - Verification number

The verification number area displays 4 random numbers with one matching the number that needs to be verified. The number of incorrect verifications are recorded and may trigger an account suspension.

3 - Advertising credit

In this section you will see Credited 1.00 credits. ePayTraffic is a 1:1 surfing site. You view one member ad and you earn one advertising credit. This is the same for all membership types.

4 - Top Menu Bar

When you start surfing, you will see your current surfing time with a link to reset your surf time. This will disappear once you click your first verification number. The other menu links will stay available during your surfing session.

Home	Bring you back to the members page.
Trade	Opens a new tab displaying the trading system page. If your logged into your trading account it will display your trading dashboard.
Open	Opens a new tab showing the current advertised page.
Report	Opens a new tab with a form to report an issue with the currently advertised site.
Sites	Displays a searchable listing of member ad campaigns and more. This is the same site listing page from the trading system but displayed within the surfing frame.
fjGraphics	Displays our fjGraphics website.
Logout	A quick way to logout for surfers managing their surf time performance.

5 - Banner/Text Ads

Displays a random banner ad and text ad campaign from a member ad campaign with advertising credits assigned.

6 - Pages Viewed

Displays the number of page views for the current surfing session as well as the total pages viewed for the day.

7 - Time Surfed

Displays the hours and minutes that the surfing page is open. The link will send you to a page to reset your surf time. ePayTraffic surfing policy is to restrict to a 2 hour surfing session or 4 hour daily surf time limit. If you need more surfing time then you can purchase a surf reset.

8 - Surfing Performance

Displays a leaderboard in the surfing frame showing the number of days you have been a member and the number of Performance points claimed with averages and plus/minus pages based on a moving average of daily pages viewed.

9 - View Member Sites

Opens a new tab showing the current ad campaigns currently rotated in our surfing frame. Below the View Member Sites link is a link to the member ad campaign with the greatest number of ad credits assigned.

10 - Footer Menu

There are 6 button links to information that is displayed within the surfing frame.

Leaders	Displays 3 leaderboard showing who leads in the current daily achievements.
PEPT On Hive	Displays blog entries for Project ePayTraffic community on Hive blockchain.
Perf Ad	Opens the Performance Ad Manager where you can manage banner ad campaigns. These Performance banner ads are displayed on ePayTraffic as well as many other websites.
PEPTalk	A chat room available within the surfing frame or outside of ePayTraffic site.
PEPT Economy	Displays a Hive blog or other information supporting Project ePayTraffic token economy.

A lot of information has been presented and available to review while surfing member pages. So now, let us do some surfing, some multitasking activities and explore some methods and techniques to get the most from ePayTraffic and Hive blockcahain.
