Cardigan Sweater Finishing

All the parts of my latest hand knit sweater are sewn together. I still need to hem it and do the embroidery, as well as add front fasteners (or not, I haven't made that decision yet.)

It is a vintage pattern with a hemmed bottom and seed stitch borders at front, wrists, and neckline.

Here is a view of the hem in progress.

The yarn is 100 percent cotton called Saucy. It is a DK weight, perfect for spring and fall. I found the pattern in the book Retro Knits edited by Kari Cornell and Jean Lampe.

I might just wear it open with a brooch at the neck. I will look at my button box and see if inspiration strikes. !PIZZA
