Welcome to the fourth and final part of Brother Eli Soriano’s teachings on staying healthy biblically. In this final part, we are going to examine some deep-based revelations that tie everything together in order to have a complete picture. These teachings could change not just your food choices, but also how you approach healthy eating as a whole. Let’s delve into it!

Have you ever thought that it is not just what you eat that affects your heath but how you eat? Brother Eli Soriano’s teaching about staying healthy brings out a fascinating blend of scriptural insight and practicality. In this final part of the series we shall take a look at these last findings which can change your perception of eating and wellness.

Just imagine sitting down for a meal made out of best quality and most nutritious foods around. And now imagine being stressed, angry or having an argument with someone while eating that meal. Even the best foods according to Bible may harm our bodies when taken while we are in conflict or discord. Brother Eli Soriano points us to an amazing biblical verse; "Eating a simple dry morsel in peace is better than a feast with strife."

This teaching is in line with the modern psychological and scientific understanding. Anxiety and bad temper can as well make us unable to digest food properly, hence affecting our overall health. Digestion is a complex process that depends on the mind-body connection. Mind set determines if you get the best out of the nutrients in your food.

Peace and tranquility should precede all meals according to brother Eli. He does not advocate for eating during times when one is not normal since this can overburden our digestive system. It is a spiritual advice but also practical health wisdom agreed upon by many nutritionists and health experts.

However, healthy eating goes beyond creating a peaceful environment. Brother Eli emphasizes on gratitude and faith as we approach food in life. “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.” (1 Timothy 4:4-5)

From this section, two crucial lessons can be learnt. First and foremost, all God’s creatures are meant for food that is good. There are many types of these foods: carrots, turnips, fruits such as papaya and guava and also bitter gourd. Second, receiving the food with thanksgiving and prayer will make it holy.

According to Brother Eli, we should always say a word of thanks before eating our meals. It is not just about the religious practice but a moment to stop everything else in life even if it means for few seconds so that we can eat with a positive mindset. This is parallel to the idea of mindful eating which has been shown to have various health benefits.

Interestingly enough though brother Eli notes that some people live long without having access to what one may consider as “healthy” or nutritious foods. He attributes this phenomenon to faith through which food is received with thanksgiving. Nonetheless he admits that there are indeed unhealthy foods, especially processed ones laden with chemicals and preservatives, which he warns can destroy our immune system.

For truly healthy eating, Brother Eli recommends consuming fresh, real food. Eat it with faith, and pray before your meal. This advice combines spiritual practice with the widely accepted nutritional advice of choosing whole, unprocessed foods.

Brother Eli's teachings remind us that healthy eating isn't just about following a specific diet or counting calories. It's about our overall approach to food - the state of mind we're in when we eat, our attitude of gratitude, and our choices in food combinations.

To summarize this four-part series on staying healthy biblically as taught by Brother Eli Soriano; it is not just about having the right food in your plate. We should make sure that we offer a prayer of thanks while eating our meals are and they should be done in an environment which promotes peace and calmness. Fresh vegetables are always good for the body since they contain fresh nutrients in them. Finally, we should be careful about how we combine different types of food and what we eat.
