Competition is excellent. The biggest winner will be the one that delivers the lowest cost per mile at the greatest scale.

Tesla's core advantage is owning the full ecosystem — manufacturing the cars, the AI to power them, and the app for ride-hailing. That combination enables the lowest cost per mile and the highest margins.
NVIDIA can prevail by partnering with specialists that cover what Tesla doesn't, such as custom-built cabins for working, sleeping, and similar use cases.
This assumes NVIDIA can field a vision system within roughly five years that matches Tesla's safety and availability. Tesla has been collecting billions of miles of driving data worldwide for years.
By the time NVIDIA closes the gap, Tesla's self-driving fleet could exceed 10 million vehicles. If any player can seriously challenge Tesla, NVIDIA is the likeliest
