The Nine Heaven SwordMaster: My take on this!
Have you all read a story so bad, you just want to see how it ends or what will happen to the MC? Yeah, that's what we have here.
Good morning, anime watchers, manga and manhwa readers, also. I will be sharing with you a Manhwa I started some weeks ago that I can't stop reading, even with how bad the storyline and progression of the story goes. I believe the author didn't intend to write a story like this, but as time went on, people started reading it, complaining about every chapter each week. However, they couldn't just stop reading it because they wanted to see what would happen to the Main Character. One thing about this manhwa is that side characters receive more screen time than the main character, but we all want to know what will happen to the main character or how his life will turn out. This has kept many people reading, despite the story's flaws.
I believe the author saw this and decided to continue writing his story like that. The title of this manhwa is
The Nine Heavens SwordMaster.
Storyline.
Now I am just going to tell you what happened in the first two chapters, which should give you an idea of how things should go or what to expect, but I can promise you, you wouldn't meet what you expect. I, too, didn't, and I can't stop reading right now.
Back in the Murim world, there was a demonic cult that attacked most of the orthodox sect, leading to a world of bloodshed. Then two great heroes rose up to fight against them. These two sword masters were exceptional, especially the Nine Heavens sword master. He was so strong that he defeated the demonic cult head with just a few moves.
After the battle was over, the two heroes started a sect of their own and lived in a world free of demonic cult people. Now here is where the story got interesting.
The exceptional sword master known as "Yeon" married two wives, but he loved his second wife the most. He was forced to marry his first wife, but after having three kids with her, he got married again and was now with the love of his life.
At the time she was going to give birth, she died, and this shocked master Yeon, sending him into a vegetative state. For seven years, he locked himself in her room and never showed his face to the world or the child left behind by his second wife, because he felt he might hate the child, which left him at the mercy of his stepmother.
He came out after seven years because he heard his friend was visiting with his family, and by this time, the younger child, Yeon Seouk, was already being maltreated and punished by his stepmother. This made the god of the nine heavens leave Yeon, and he was now weaker than he had been.
Yeou Seouk's stepmother would always beat him until he was covered in blood, while his stepsiblings would laugh at the sight.
After meeting with his friend, he became ill and passed away. Now Yeou Seouk's stepmother has become the head, and this time his suffering has just started.
She would punish him, and the only word he was used to saying was "I am sorry."
She hates seeing him and then asked the guards to lock him up in a wooden compartment along with all his father's belongings. One thing they didn't know was that the Nine Heavens Sword technique was a technique that could only be taught by the Nine Heavens Sword that resides inside a mirror, which they locked away with Yeou Seouk.
While he was locked away, one day he checked out the mirror and he saw his reflection, but his reflection wasn't doing what he wanted to do; instead, it was teaching him martial arts. He didn't want to do it at first, but he was cold, so he started doing it to keep himself warm.
He did this training for ten years, and one day, one of his techniques broke down the compartment. He ran into the mountain where some group of bandit saved him, fed him, and took him as their brother. They took good care of him because of the sorry state he was in, and that was the first time he had ever felt loved by someone.
They did not know they had taken someone with the most dangerous sword technique in the murim world.
Yeou became a bandit, and his fate continued like that.
My Opinion
When I started the manhwa, I loved it and I still do but I love it less because they are not giving me what I wanted and the progression sometimes doesn't make sense, yet I read it. I am in tears right now. I love the Mc story and there are still so much I would like to see from him.
Would I recommend it to anyone, the answer is No!
Would I continue to read it? The answer is Yes!
I don't know why but I want to see how it goes and how it ends.
Thanks for reading. My name is Fashtioluwa.
